Last 2 weeks of my ship contract

I told myself at the beginning of this contract that I would prioritize journaling every day and write about all of my experiences and talk about all of the people I've met on this journey blah blah excuses excuses that didn't happen... SO! I decided that I would write down all the notable, strange, disclosable, fun, and crazy things from the last 2 weeks

• I was accused of being a pickpocket on the Cinque Terre express by an American tourist in front of her entire tour group

• I learned how to concoct the perfect elixir to get the smell out of costumes that can't be machine washed (ie. the pits of the costumes that I've been wearing for the past 8 months)

  • laundry detergent

  • peppermint soap

  • smelly balls (something that one of my British cast members introduced me to - I didn't know that these existed)

  • fabric softener

  • spritz with Febreze antibacterial fabric cleaning spray #notsponsored

• I learned that 23kgs is equal to 50lbs

• had an overnight in Barcelona and saw a Flamenco show and the Spanish National tour of La Phantasma de la Opera in one day!

• Tried a gin and tonic for the first time

• Reached a 250 day streak on Duolingo

• Booked a flight to Sweden
